Step-2: To Open My Account, type https://myaccount.google.com/ in your browser.
Step-3: Go to the Account Preferences option that is listed on the My Account page. And now click on the “Delete your account or services” option from the drop down list. Under the “Delete your account or services”, click on the Delete Products option.
Step-4: Now again enter your password to proceed further. Now before Delete Google Account read all given instructions.
Step-5: Now scroll down the page and check both the options same as in image given. And then click on the Delete Account option.
Step-6: You’re Google Account as well as all its data is removed now.
How to Recover Deleted Account Back
If you deleted your Google Account accidentally, then go to the Account Support and follow all below given steps to recover it back.
- Go to the https://accounts.google.com/signin/recovery
- In the Account support window type email address that you previously deleted and click on next button.
- Now simply enter your password and click “Next”.
- Click on continue button. Your account is recovered. Simply click on Gmail icon and enjoy your account further.
Steps to Permanently Delete Gmail Account:
Step 1: Follow step-1 to Step-4 of Delete Google Account, and then under “Delete a Google service window” click on the Delete icon.
Step 2: Now enter an email address. Actually, Gmail won’t remove account until you have verified your new address by clicking in verification message.
Step 3: Click Send Verification Email-> open the alternate email account’s inbox and verify your new address.
