Simple, Self-Tested Steps to Create Partitions of Hard Drive in Windows 8 or 8.1
If you are using Windows 8 or 8.1, but still you have not created partition of hard drive, then you are making your data so unsafe. Simple steps to Create Hard Drive Partition:
Step 1: Press the Windows + S buttons from your keyboard to open Search field.
Step 2: In the Search area type “Disk Management” and then press Enter key.
Step 3: Now click on the option Create and Format Hard Disk Partition and press Enter to open Disk Management window.
Step 4: In the disk management window, simply Right Click on the existing Partition like C: and then select Shrink Volume.
Step 5: Now Right Click on new created Hard Drive Partition and then select option New Simple Volume.
Step 6: From the New Simple Volume Wizard click on Next.
Step 7: Now Specify Volume Size and then press Next Button.
Step 8: Assign Drive Letter like D: and press Next Button.
Step 9: To store data on the partition, you must format it first, so click radio button Format this volume and press Next Button.
Step 10: Click on Finish Button and Start enjoying new partition.
